Posada de Rosas offers the perfect venue—private, yet
convenient to the attractions of
Mendoza city —for up to 10 participants for several days, and can arrange for catering,
meals or meetings for these events. Our studio apartments and rooms plus the adjoining garden,
terrace, and the common areas in the house can accommodate your workshop, family reunion,
retreat or business meeting or incentive group. The facilities can also accommodate much
larger events, such as a reception, for up to 50 persons for a single day.
Here we list some of the enticing workshops Amazing Mendoza can arrange for you. But these are only the beginning.
If you’re a teacher, a coach, or professional trainer we welcome your ideas for workshops or meetings we’ll work with you to organize and sponsor for your colleagues or students: Writing (including travel writing), photography, art, dance and music, yoga, Spanish language—the possibilities are endless.
In addition, through the Mendoza Intercultural Association, a non–profit organization we have created with Mendoza colleagues for the purpose of intercultural exchange, we can offer opportunities for your group to interact with Mendoza counterparts. For example, an author who had written a book about an Argentine experience came here with a group of her students to conduct a writing workshop. A highlight of the workshop was the opportunity for participants to meet with local writers to share thoughts and ideas.
Posada de Rosas, Amazing Mendoza’s boutique inn, is the perfect place to re–connect and spend quality time with family or friends. The bright sunroom with its view of the garden, the swimming pool and the terrace under the grape arbor all beckon guests to relax, talk, sip a glass of wine or enjoy a meal together.
With advance notice, the Posada can arrange special, memorable experiences for your group such as:
Combine business with pleasure. Mendoza has become a major venue for international investors.
Hear objective presentations on the local real estate scene and learn from experts and expat property
owners about the pleasures and pitfalls of real estate investing in “the land of sun and
good wine.”
The workshop will cover issues related to investing in a second home, a vineyard or a vacation or
rental apartment. Immerse yourself in the local culture with winery visits, wine tastings, gourmet
food experiences and a memorable day in the Andes Mountains.
Get a new perspective on your future. Sometimes the best way to get perspective is to
GET AWAY. What better place to contemplate your future than the capital of Argentina’s wine country,
at the base of the snow–capped Andes? This workshop combines the business of planning for your retirement
with the pleasures of fine wine, food, a vibrant artistic and cultural scene and spectacular mountain
scenery in the eighth “Great Wine Capital of the World.” Retirement planning sessions will be led by
Ellen Hoffman, author of two retirement books and a long–time columnist and reporter on retirement
and personal finance issues.

The Posada served as the base for a week–long writers’ workshop. Nine writers and their teacher,
lodged at the Posada, used the facilities for classes, individual consultations, many
meals, and as a base for excursions to wineries, the mountains and other local
attractions.
